New Debris Management and Procurement Guides Now Available
As part of its core mission, GOHSEP works diligently to obtain homeland security and disaster related grants for applicants. Obtaining those grant funds is only half and usually the easiest part of the equation. Many applicants experience significant challenges in keeping those grant funds received.
Repeatedly, there are two areas which have consistently proven to be difficult for applicants and are chronic causes for de-obligation. They are debris management and procurement under FEMA regulations.
In its on-going effort to provide education and training to applicants, GOHSEP has developed a Debris Management Guide and a Procurement Guide to assist applicants to successfully navigate through both of these areas. These guides are not meant as a substitute for other FEMA publications on the subject matter but are designed to address the majority of problem areas that the applicant will likely encounter.
The documents can be accessed in the Legal Library located at the bottom of this page.
